Counselling Support provides late night & weekend appointments at various times to allow for working & family needs.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT IN MY COUNSELLING SESSIONS?
Counselling Support provides a safe environment where a client can work through their concerns or events in their lives in a way that allows the client to see alternative pathways possible.
HOW DOES COUNSELLING SUPPORT WORK?
Counselling Support is a client centred counselling service, that ensures the client is listened to and supported. Guidance is provided, and it allows the client find alternative pathways.
WHAT IS THE DIFFEReNCE BETWEEN A PSYCHIATRIST AND A COUNSELLOR?
Psychiatrists are medical practitioners who often specialise in the treatment of psychosis and mental illness. As doctors they are able to prescribe medications to their patients. Generally, clients who are on a mental health plan and require medication would visit a Psychiatrist. Alternatively, Counsellors provide an array of evidenced based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Humanistic Client Centred Counselling, Mindfulness Based Counselling, Addiction Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Couple Therapy and Family Guidance. These therapies are client centred, meaning the client is put first at all times.
